America is disgusting Im not Mike Brown Im white, middle class, Im a girl The police here look at me and see the little girl they went to church with They see themselves They see white I will not get shot for carrying skittles I will not get shot for carrying a BB gun I will not get shot for reaching for my wallet Because Im white If I were too ever be harmed, there would be justice Because Im white Dont you dare say anyone who is outraged about this is a racist Dont you dare say what about white people? Because were here Were not getting shot as children simply for the color of our skin This is 2014 and still we are protecting the white man with the overwhelming amount of evidence against him because he killed a black boy Racism is alive and well and it is here Get outraged This is everyones problem This is insane Do not forget Mike Brown Do not forget Ferguson Do not forget this man who is stained with blood who is walking away from the boy he killed The family he has taken this boy from Mike Brown was three years older than me And he was shot because of the color of his skin And his murderer is getting away with it.
