America is struggling to awaken from the nightmare that has developed from the dream merchants. To awaken from the perception that we are separate from one another; from the dream that the next toy will quench our thirst for Joy; from the suspicion that our neighbors are going to take the resource or opportunity that we are struggling to grasp. Hate, like fear, is not natural. Those emotions are oppression in action. We just need to awaken from the nightmare. All that we need is already ours. The joy of connecting our souls in praise of a loving Creator; the appreciation of Beauty; the exhilaration of meeting challenges together and building communities of respect and peace. These delights are our birthright and deserve to be remembered and cherished.
