Blue Jays 7, Rays 2: Toronto chased Tampa Bay starter Chris Archer after 2 1/3 innings, then tagged Alex Torres and Jamey Wright for five runs over the next two innings. Ben Zobrist, James Loney and Wil Myers all hit doubles, but the Rays went 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position. The Rays need to win on Sunday to guarantee at least a one-game tiebreaker for the second Wild Card spot. Rangers 7, Angels 4: Texas took advantage of five Los Angeles errors to tie Tampa Bay for the second AL Wild Card spot. The Rangers scored three unearned runs, and Joe Nathan recorded his 43rd save in 46 chances. Texas also needs to win on Sunday to guarantee themselves at least one more game.
