Amherst 3rd grade students had a visit from Walsh University international students who spoke about their native country, customs, and cultures. Amherst students took notes and asked questions to further their knowledge about the countries of Iraq, Bolivia, Saudi Arabia. This was part of the reading common core unit about the world. After learning about these countries, our students researched a country and created a PowerPoint slide presentation in their technology class.
