Amigos, I swear that in the 70s, 80s, 90s, the WEST was definitely superior that the EAST, Soviet Union, Communist East Germany and so on!!! But like MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better. I dont say that everything was 100% justice and everything, but the social system was much better, people who worked hard got paid accordingly, people also did trust each other much more than today and so on. While even FREEDOM today, if you post something on Facebook or whatever, it might destroy your career. Like if you say something bad about Monsanto or even something bad about the EURO. In those days if you were a proud communist worker in France, it had no consequences. Our Western Societies are actually becoming more and more like what we knew from Eastern Europe or even from the Third World, with Oligarchs, Corruption, a very weak and corrupt state, a broken education system, a very bad and corrupt health system, constant wars because of the Defence Industry or others and much more.
