Amit Shah launches scathing attack on Omar Kathua: Bharatiya Janata Party chief Amit Shah, who is in Jammu & Kashmir, instilling confidence into party workers ahead of Assembly elections in the state, launched a scathing attack on the Omar Abdullah government on Monday during a rally in Kathua. Attacking the government on the repeated ceasefire violations along the LoC, Shah said, I want to tell Omar Abdullah if there is shelling (from Pakistan), our government will give a fitting reply. Stating that the National Conference government had no right to stay in power in the state, Shah said, From J&K to Kanyakumari,from Assam to Gujarat, people of the nation and also the BJP workers are with the public of J&K. He appealed people to end dynasty rule in the state to pave way for development. Shah reached J&K on a two-day visit. He visited the villagers and soldiers posted at RS Pura sector in wake of shelling by Pakistani Army.
