Amitabh Bachchan Today is his 72nd birthday He is without a shadow of a doubt the biggest and most would agree the best actor to come out of Bollywood I grew up watching his films You name it Ive watched it Sholay one of his greatest hits Ive watched in excess of a hundred times In India this man is treated like a god During the eighties he was trying to break into mainstream indian politics even today his support amongst the common man is so great that if he stood for prime minister of India he would win hands down During the London Olympics he was invited to carry the torch From being one of my idols he is now one of the people that I truly believe is going to hell when he dies The reason; When indira Gandhi prime minister of India was sent to hell by Sardar Beant Singh Ji and Sardar Satwant Singh Ji for ordering the Indian army to invade forty Sikh temples amitabh bachchan went on national tv and shouted slogans asking for Sikhs to be made to pay for indiras assassination This sparked mobs led by government officials to invade the homes of innocent Sikhs (many whom were even supporters of indira) These mobs raped women and girls they killed men and boys by setting them on fire Bachchan has never admitted his role in this anti Sikh violence
