Amjed Ullah Khan, (Corporator) MBT along with the family members of the victim and MBT leaders brought the matter of kidnap and rape of Muslim Girl a IIIrd Year Student of TRR Polytechnic College to the Andhra Pradesh State Human Rights Commission (APSHRC) today. Taking note of the seriousness of the case, in which the victim was allegedly raped for 17 months by Satya Prakash Singh (canteen owner) of TRR College, Mr. Kakumanu Peda Peri Reddy (Acting Chairperson) Andhra Pradesh State Human Rights Commission, instructed Sri Dinesh Reddy (IPS), Director General of Police, Andhra Pradesh to submit a report to the Commission about the ghastly incident before 7th October 2013. He also asked the Mr. Mukesh Kumar Meena (IAS) Collector Dist.Hyderabad to direct the Tahsildar, Bandlaguda Mandal to personally meet the family and explore the possibility of compensation being awarded to the rape victim.
