Amol Palekar is celebrating his 70th birthday today. A very fine actor, he could handle serious and comic roles with the same ease. A movie of his that I loved was Gomaal.. a farce of a movie. But within that movie was this lovely rendition by Kishore Kumar to the tune of RD Burman. The value of a pal is known most to the people who lose a moment when it is of utmost importance. As all revolves around one moment at a time, we can never underestimate its worth.
