Among many laws that govern the universe, the law of polarity seems to be the most difficult to adjust to. As humans we only embrace the positives or good in our lives but we do our best to resist the opposites of all the good we want. Good and evil, joy and sadness, love and hatred, laughter and tears, success and failure etc are like double sided coins. The good may be the head and the evil the tail. Life would not be what it is if we could come to the point where we embrace both sides of the same coin, for one side cannot exist without the other. This is dualism.
