Among the many things Im thankful for, Id like to give a shout out to my boss Brooke Mosay Ammann! Not too long ago she sent us staff members a link to this video w/some inspiring words. This video really does speak of what kind of person she is. She works hard for Waadookodaading and is getting so much done. She does give us our space to be creative and is supportive and strong when we bite the dust in this struggle to bring back our language. We DO have to much to lose and she gets up everyday and fights that battle alongside us in the trenches. Writing grant reports, balancing budgets, and meeting w/state senators all while washing soiled clothes, escorting kids to in-school dental appointments, and taking recess duty.
