Amongst the Recipients of the National Award from Mr President, I am particularly touched by the Story of the Cab Driver. I asked myself a sincere question .. If I were in the shoes of the cab driver, would I return the money to the owner or would I exhibit the Smart mentality some Nigerians think they have by holding back the money...And my Answer was YES...I would return the money. I have had cause to return excess money given to me by mistake.. I once paid for a bottle of water with 100 and was given 450 as my balance...I had to go back to the store to return the money. I have had this experiences several times(bus, market, street vendors etc) and I just couldnt hold it back because I have a conscience and I believe in the law of Karma. In a country where corruption stinks and morals fed to the dogs, it is very difficult to see a honest Nigerian..Its like having a camel pass through a needle eye. If you cannot account for the little things around you, you cant account when the big one comes knocking
