Amongst the little satisfactions from yesterday (despite it being my slowest time here) was gaining 274 places between Pen-y-Pass (end of first climb) and the finish and 69 of those in the last 3 miles, most of them in the last mile and a half when I smashed the final descent :) Cramps hit me as always on the final straight but I caught up with Dapper Woody who kindly let me cross the finish line with him :) And having so many friends around when I finished really made the day special :)
