Amosuns henchman in Odogbolu is a Thief. ....Alaga Awon Ole If there is anyone I am not comfortable talking about, it is Wale Shittu, the Executive Chairman of Odogbolu LG. But few days ago, information reached me of a complete embarrassing scenario between the Local Govt Chairman and the landlords Association in Aiyepe, the same town Wale Shittu came from. How many of you still remember the higher-Purchased electricity transformers AMOSUN shared when he first came to power over 3 years ago? You remember? Good! The one given to Aiyepe was never connected for over 2 years now and the landlords in the town came together to contribute N850,000 for its installation. As the son of the soil, and a chief executhieve of the entire LG, he was saddled with the overseeing of the whole process. According to the information, Shittu was expected to pay the PHCN staffs that will connect the Transformer and then buy the high tension cables needed. Shittu got the money, went to his fathers liquidated lace factory in Aiyepe, disconnected the old cables from a dead transformer there, gave the PHCN staffs N350,000 and pocketed the remaining N500,000. For those of you who knows Aiyepe town very well, you will know that there was never any govt presence in the town, from only God knows when. Their wealthy sons always came together to contribute for whatever developmental plan they want for their town. Despite their son being the Chairman, the story is still the same today. Since Shittu was selected and foisted on the people of Odogbolu, he has only been able to build a N50,000 Gada as his best achievement. Another 2 bedroom poultry called maternity center he was constructing in Eyinwa is still without any window, after 2 years he started the project. Well, the transformer was installed and everyone was happy. Few days later, the bubble bursted, the transformer exploded and the people of that part of the town were back in Darkness. The PHCN officers were called in and questioned why that had to happen after giving them all they asked for to do a better job? N850,000? Na there and then Alaga Shittu thievery was exposed. If you have anyone living in Aiyepe (emphasis on living), not saying of anyone from Aiyepe living in Lagos, call and confirm this. It took me three days before I can share this.
