Amy Goodman would have done more for the environment by staying home, not wasting jet fuel flying, and actually reporting the fact that the consumption of meat, dairy, fish, and eggs is responsible for at least 51% of all human-caused greenhouse gas emissions, and that the only practical way to address climate change is an immediate global movement to veganism. That she went to Poland and reported on the nonsensical money battles and irrelevant singing of songs about the environment, makes her Warsaw coverage as useless as the conference itself. While Democracy Now is one of the best programs available in media today, and I watch it daily, it is obvious that speciesism is rampant even among progressives who are blind to it, blinded by it, and enable it to be the last form of oppression still acceptable to them. - Bob Linden GoVeganRadio
