Amy has a question and I wonder what you guys think: I have a new job where the owner makes us pay for the fees related to credit card charges. We offer a 2% discount if patrons pay in cash, to encourage such practice. But at the end of the day when we count the drawer and our tips (we pool) there is a % of cost that we factor in to support credit charges. This cost is taken out of the tip pool. My question....is this legal???
