Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a debilitating disease - TopicsExpress

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a debilitating disease that, to oversimplify things, causes its victims to rapidly lose all voluntary control of their muscles. Better known as Motor Neuron Disease in Singapore, ALS currently has no known cure. If you are interested in making a contribution, we encourage you to make a donation to LOCAL organisations that can help with victims with the disease in Singapore. A good place to start would be the Society for the Physically Disabled (SPD), and donations can be made via GIVEasia.org. All appropriate links can be found at the end of this post. It may seem like all fun and games here, but we do strongly urge everyone to read up about the disease before taking part in the challenge. Its only right. And now, if anyone is doubting the temperature of the water, we can assure you that the ice was stewing in there for at least a few hours. IT. WAS. FREEZING. We were nominated by Gareth Fernandez to take the #ALSAIceBucketChallenge, and we pass this along to the following people: wyd:syd SA trio NADI Singapura Nylon Singapore Andrea Chong You have 24 hours.
