Amélie says Our six-year-old son is autistic. He has been attending ABA (which we had to stop because of Obama Care - thank you very much), speech, PT, and OT since he was very young. We recently discovered an amazing tool to help improve his comprehension (his biggest problem), speech, vocabulary, and pronunciation: Rosetta Stone - English. I was skeptical but its working amazing!!! It also teaches him speech because he has to repeat what he hears into the microphone and the program will tell him if he did it correctly or not. He also had a huge problem with focus, but with Rosetta Stone, he will sit in front of the computer for 30-45 minutes doing the exercises. This is the most he has ever sat at any one time, giving his complete attention to one thing. Its amazing! I am sharing because I think this is a great tool. Its been doing wonders for Robert. If you Google rosetta stone autism there are tons of articles and reviews about how parents have and are using it with success. Im sorry I didnt think about it sooner. Just a thought.
