An 87 year old lady saw our Christmas collection in EAL and contacted us asking if we would like to visit her and look at some things she had for sale. She lives less than 2 hours from us. We had a delightful time Sunday afternoon visiting with her, looking at her collections, and adding to ours. We would love to know more about the doll rocker. One side of the back says Story Chair. The side pictured says The Christmas Tree with an 8 line poem. The cotton snowman candy container was one Ive never had so that was fun. And of course the lamb on wheels was a real find. She said when she bought him he had the Christmas trim around him and shed always left it on him so we will too. There was only one little feather tree but the variety of brush trees because of their uniqueness or size made them desirable so I had to have them too. Probably the best part of the trip though was gaining a new friend. Shell be coming to our house during the holidays to see that her treasures are now safely under someone elses tree for years to come.
