An AAttitude of GrAAtitude MAAkes Life Sweet: With Reserve month over...and some mAArvelous Reserve trip adventures under my belt, my Spanish speaking line month has begun. I am so thankful to be working the #1 position on my beloved Super 80 to Monterrey and Guadalajara, Mexico, for this WHOLE MONTH!!! Yesterday, I got home from a 2 day AAdventure to Monterrey. We encountered many delays and stressed out passengers who has been trying to get home for 6, 8 and even 12 hours. Initially, I felt my internal tension begin to rise in reflection of what I was feeling from not only passengers...but some fellow crew members as well. Then LOUDLY...across my mind came the words You can make a DIFFERENCE because I came into the world that you may call upon MY STRENGTH! I felt rather ashamed for the moments I had wavered in uncertainty, put on my brightest smile... and began to internally PrAAise God From Whom All Blessings Flow...while externally extending MORE care and cheer to all. I forgot about how I was feeling...and sincerely concentrated on what I could DO to make things better for others. Almost IMMEDIATELY...I noticed a DIFFERENCE in all around me!! My revelation was...the DIFFERENCE coming from me INTERNALLY was creating the difference in my EXTERNAL environment!!!! Just in case you may think it was all my IMAGINATION...One of my passengers even made a ROSE for me out of one of our AA napkins!!! LOL! :-) It DOES NOT get BETTER than that!! Suffice it to say...we had a WONDERFUL last three legs...and there was certainly a Divine Fragrance and Light accompanying our flights! My devotion in Jesus Calling today EXACTLY describes what I experienced yesterday! As landing lights on a plane cut through the fog and darkness, so an attitude of gratitude and praise guides us through our personal fog and moments lacking in clarity and appropriate focus! There are NO WORDS to describe how VERY THANKFUL I am to have the job I have and to be able to extend love and care to my coworkers and my passengers! #Godsaysweareallfirstclass #tooblessedtobestressed #Lordcontinuetogobeforeme #anattitudeofgratitudealways
