An Amazing story of Private First Class Lawrence Gordon. A Canadian, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and fought in Normandy. He was killed in action on August 13, 1944, but was mistakenly buried in a German military cemetery as an unknown due to the fact that his body was unrecognizable and German military equipment was in close proximity to his body. Gordons remains are now in the U.S. being escorted to Canada by the Patriot Guard Riders. Rest in peace and honor, PFC Gordon. Welcome home. And Canada, thank you for the friendship and for this soldiers sacrifice.
