An Amazing week in South Africa. We just returned to Johannesburg after four days at Kambaku Safari Lodge in the Timbavati Private Game reserve near Kruger Park. This is our second trip there and it was even better than the first! We were thrilled to travel with Nathan, John Morgan and his new bride Cassady! We were able to see the Big 5 plus spend a lot of time with a pack of Africa Wild Dogs, an endangered species. It must have been family week on the Africa channel because we were able to see Rhinos with small rhinos, Big and baby elephants, wild dog puppies (ridiculously cute), and even a leopard with her cub (see pics). We were also able to see a White Lion (one of only two in the wild in the world). I have to thank Susan for her wonderful birthday present of a telephoto lens, because it made a huge difference in the pictures. Between John Morgan, Nathan, and myself, plus Cassadys videos, we must have taken over 4,000 pictures. Here are a few and we will have more pictures and more stories throughout the week.
