An Esan SE/NE House of Representatives aspirant under the aegis of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State, Barrister Sergius Oseasochie Ogun weekend in Uromi in Esan North -East local government of the state decried what he termed the abysmal number of slots accorded youths by the federal Government at the on-going National Conference. Ogun while at an interactive session with youths from Esan North- East and Esan South-East local government areas under the aegis of Ebakota also kicked against the choice of those he claimed mismanaged the nations economy in the past as delegates to the ongoing confab. I have discovered that in this country we dont carry the youths along. Now they are discussing as a nation at the National Conference, how many young men did you see there? The same people there are the ones that got scholarship to go to school in Nigeria and overseas and they were the people that mismanaged the economy of this country, they are the same people that are there right now. The House of Representatives aspirant who recently awarded scholarships to over 12000 students from the federal Constituency, however promised to redirect his representation when elected at youth education and empowerment. We need to educate the young generation, they need to have the right education so that they can have the right employment so that they can be properly focused to guard this nation Spokeperson for the group which comprises of 21 wards from the defunct Aigbazilo Local Government Area of the State, Godwin Ebosele said they decided to call on Mr. Ogun to contest for the House of Representatives ticket owing to his philanthropic gesture and disposition towards alleviating the plights of the poor.
