An Eternal Wait..For YOU.. Part-9 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- this part is dedicated to my dearest friend Hirvita Patel..I seriously love and adore u a lot...and missed you so very much these days.. recap:sanyuktas engagement got fixed..randhir came to know about this from sanyukta..he too was hurt like her..they both missed each other in this vacation..atlast randhir succeded in cheering her up..sanyukta started feeling something different for randhir.. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sanyukta was beaming with joy as she had to wait only for these 9 hours,after which she could go back to her college..meet randhir..her euphoria casted aside her grief of engagement..she was finding it hard to sleep..to her,each minute passed like each year.. meanwhile her phone rang and she readily picked it up: S:hello..main tumhara call ka hi intezaar kar rahi thi!!she hold her breath tightly in excitement. from the other side kaustuki uttered K:agar tum mujhe itna hi miss kar raha tha,to call luin nahi ki ek bar bhi?in this whole vacation?huh?she replied angrily! S:kaustu tum??she released her breath! K:haan!kyuin tujhe kaun lagi thi?she teased! S:nothing kaustu!wo..wo main so rahi thi na isilye number check nahi kiya!she tried to cover up.. K:accha?par teri awaz se to aisa lag nahi rahashe chaffed S:arey baba kuch bhi nahi kaustu..she tried to release the tension,afterall though kaustu was her best friend,still how can she mention about her so-called-enemy randhir to her!..you know,Im sooo happy that finally I will meet you all tomorrow..maine kitna miss kiya yaar..college,canteen,samose,Lab,vidushi ki nakhre..teri aur jiggy ka romance..vardhan sir ka task..randhir ki...she stopped biting her lower lip! K:what?randhir ki...?her voice raised its 7th octave!kya kahi tumne? S:ummm..wo ..kaustu,mujhe na bahut neend aa rahi hain..pata nahi kya kya halucinate kar rahi hu..ok.gud night ok.swt drmsshe cut short.. she was so excited to get back to her college that next day,she was the first to reach over there.Later her friends Jiggy,kaustu,Vidushi joined her..But one person was missing from this toll and it was randhir,whom her eyes were dying to see!sanyukta called randhir after a while but her call went unresponded! her face fell low when an instantaneous appearance of Vardhan along with dean shocked all of them! V:guys,like I said,tum sabka agla task after exams hoga,so here I go..within next half an hour,a bus will come to pick you up..and you all will be going to Jodhpur..he cleaned his spectacles with a his hankerchief. D:well students,its not a task actually,but you all will be given a few sessions on how to utilise each and every waste part to assemble scientific instruments for our future use and progressing this stream..any questions students?the dean seemed clarifying. S:sir iye task to dream team ke liye hain na..par randhir to nahi hain yaha!she asked it as if it was the bonus question of any entrance exam! before dean can respond,vardhan took over him! V:Interesting...very interesting..Im sure this question will surely benefit u in this seminar!he placed his spects back to his orbs! guys randhir will join you directly at jodhpur and two more people are going to join our dream team-Sahil Arora and Parth Kashyap.. but things failed to register sanyuktas heavy with thoughts cerebrum..all the way,sanyukta remained tongue tied..kaustuki was now sure that something was wrong with sanyukta..something changed her to the core in these 15 days..she tried to lift her mood up..and started discussing her vacation stuffs with her..after a while sanyukta too responded..she told her everything on what had happened with her in this vacation,but intentionally or unintentionally she skipped randhirs topic..whenever his topic came,she felt uncomfortable..finally they reached at evening..it was a small remorse area,yet beautifully decorated with thermal bulbs! sanyukta,now couldnt hold back her emotions any longer..her eyes was frantically searching randhir in that hazy brightness..and there he was at last!he emerged out of a dark corner, dressed in a sky blue shirt perfectly paired with dark blue jeans,his hands tug inside pockets..his face clearly showed he too was waiting for this moment..she started stepping towards himwith a million dollar smile on her face when suddenly someone patted her back! Hi,Im Parth..Parth Kashyap..ur partner..I mean in dream team..he stretched his hands towards her,smiling.. sanyukta too stretched her hands to greet him back..they talked for a while about this seminar but her mind was left with randhir,who again got disappeared in that darkness..may be only sanyuktas presence can cast aside the shadow..the darkness from his life.. hours passed and they attented the seminar which ended nearly at 8:45 PM.. In all these hours,randhir didnt even look at her..for once..and after sometime, sanyu too got engrossed in her work.. since the bus had to return by 10 PM, they had a full one hr and a fifteen mins time to spend over there.. Jiggy hurriedly came from somewhere and informed them that there was an arrangement of fair in a close by-lane..while vidushi was busy in checking out parths attire,attitude,behaviour..and was least interested in these grandeur,all other members except randhir showed a positive sign..sanyukta wanted to stay back,with randhir..but kaustuki forced her to go with them,which she couldnt turn down! they stopped in front of a jewellery shop.. K:wow sanyu,iye earring dekho..kitni khubsurat hain na?she chirped..before sanyukta could praise it, jiggy asked the shop owner to pack it for her..tum isme bahut zyada khubsurat lagogi..he smiled,kaustuki blushed.. sanyukta,for the first time realised the beauty of LOVE..she was happy for her two closest friends,but at the same time something stinged her from inside..she missed randhir badly! It was almost 120 hrs 24 minutes 11 secs, she has talked to randhir last,what her calculations said..and some irritations started inside her..she too choiced a pair of bangles for herself,but she kept them down..an unknown aura of loneliness crept her mind..she went inside the bus and glued her eyes outside its window,when someones voice came..May I? S:arey ha ha sure.e..sit parth..she waved her locks behind her ears.. the bus started its journey back to FITE..they talked about here and there..sometimes made faces..sometimes laughed! all these time,two hazel orbs were transfixed on sanyukta..and it was randhirs..he too himself didnt know why he hesitated to face sanyukta..her questions about his concern for her,which he already read from her eyes..her expressions..her smile..but the truth was he never left her sight even for a second,whether it was in that seminar..or in that fair..or in this bus! he pretended to sleep everytime sanyukta turned back to steal a glance at randhir.. P:waise ek baat puchu tumse sanyukta? puchna to nahi chahie..phir bhi..Randhir tumhara bahut accha dost hain na? jabse tum yaha ayi ho,tumhara focus sirf aur sirf usi par hain..!
