An Example to Follow... King David was a good king who followed God with all his heart (1 Kings 14:8). He is an example to follow. King Jeroboam, the first king to rule Israel after the kingdom was divided, was one of the worst kings. He sinned and made Israel sin (1 Kings 14:16). He was a bad example. Each of us has our own sphere of influence. We can use it for evil or for good. May we be a shining light that bring glory to the Lord. May others see God’s light shining through us and be drawn to His goodness.
