An Honest Days Work Failure to work when one is commanded and able is a failure in our intimate personal relationship with the LORD (Trenton Battle). It was another day of honest hard work on the job, but Ive been taught and learned that labor in any capacity in which God commands is a personal blessing. It is through honest moral work that we receive the blessings of love, light, and life from the LORD. Man was created for labor and preservation: And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress [aw-bad = to serve, labor, work, till, worshipper] it and to keep [shaw-mar-ah = watch, preserve, guard, beware, take heed, observe] it (Genesis 2:15). A failure to labor and serve, and to watch and preserve led to the loss of light and life, and the severing of an intimate love relationship. There is a definite relationship between our labors and our love for and with God, and we can never separate one from the other and hold sincere expectations that the intimate relationship will be sustained or prosperous. An intimate personal relationship with the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is a labor of love conjoined to the guardian of light that produces an increase of life (Trenton Battle). When we labor in the will of God He draws near to join His Omnipotence to our surrendered finiteness until that which is weak becomes strong again by the abiding presence of the Omnipotent LORD God. Man intimate love relationship with the Creator LORD God was to be one established, increased, and sustained upon the foundation and institution of labor/worship and watchful preservation. Mans first labor of love was an equal partnership where one labored while the other watched. All of our labors under Gods Directive Authority are those that are fully equipped for our successful fulfillment. God purposes fruitfulness from His people; therefore, He provides the substance necessary to produce such. May we all continue to worship and watch in the garden the LORD puts us within. God bless you, Trenton Battle
