An INCREDIBLE year at 2015 PA WARS. A huge SHOUT must go to the two Organizers this Year: Natasha Reweti a.k.a Ricos Mamii) and JH a.k.a John-Henry Maniapoto. Both of you bought specialized strengths and tireless hours of communicating, organizing and prepping the whole of 2014, not an easy feat, but fantastically our whanau numbers doubled in size and we placed (a new first for Waitetoko) 12th thats a fantastic twelth...12th mau te wehi!! Thanks also goes to Aunty R Nepia-Reweti and all her merry helpers in the kitchen (a little birdy told me) Aunty R Nepia-Reweti is looking forward to handing the reigns over to the next whanau wanting to share the love aye cuz Tui Maniapoto, Mere Maniapoto Kerrylee Maniapoto :) xx Blessings and thanks to the Mariu Whanau for the use of that Awesome Big White Gazebo.. John Henry Maniapoto hope you keep the uniforms going, they looked great , think we need hats and bright green playing Tees next year maybe a sea of Uniforms will blow everyone away next year... Tasha Ricos Mami, you did such a brilliant job of putting the right amount of teams in, keeping it tight, and keeping our deductions down to a minimum if any?? I will put my hand up now and Manage a WOMENS RUGBY TEAM, I would like a main coach and 2nd coach.... if no takers I will find them?? and if your keen I would like to offer to CO-ORDINATE Volleyball as a Marae (please think about it??) Lastly, it was wonderful seeing Uncle Jim Maniapoto and always our Petanque veterans Uncle Te Kanawa & Aunty Kataraina and to every whanau member who supported, participated, washed a dish, shouted or was just there....we are WINNERS just by being together....
