An Introduction to Welfare Benefits Cheshire West Citizens Advice Bureau Are you confused about the range of benefits available? Are you unsure about the planned changes to the benefits system? Our current programme provides a range of courses that are suitable not only for those who are new to welfare benefits but also for advisers who want to develop their existing skills and knowledge. We aim to provide high-quality, low-cost, locally-based welfare benefits training for those who, in the course of their work, advise people on welfare benefits. Our trainers are recognised in their area of work and are able to draw upon considerable practice and experience. This popular half-day course is designed for anybody who in the course of their work provides information on welfare benefits. It covers recent and forthcoming changes to welfare benefits that will be introduced in the coming months and years including Universal Credits. It is also useful for advisers who want to be kept up-to-date with the latest developments in welfare benefits and tax credits.
