An-Nahl [16:66] And verily in cattle (too) will ye find an instructive Sign. From what is within their bodies, between excretions and blood, We produce for your drink, milk, pure and agreeable to those who drink it. The cow which was created by Allah provides for us meat as well as milk as well as other benefits. Meat is the higher divine wisdom we all should share in which is why we read in scripture about the prophets dining with meat and serving meat to their guests. Bani Israel was told through Prophet Moses (saw) to sacrifice a heifer (old Egyptian religious knowledge). They questioned Moses at every turn about the sacrifice and performed the sacrifice half heartedly. Bani Israel in the absence of Prophet Moses (saw) made a golden calf (baby cow) which was false worship. Prophet Abraham (saw) received messengers from Allah and hastened to entertain them with a roasted calf. I recall in the Batman series Robin would always say holy cow Batman. Wicked conspirators they take the meat (higher divine wisdom) for themselves and feed the masses milk (infantile concepts in religion). Descendants of Bani Israel will be found today separating meat from milk where one fridge has meat another holds dairy. They do not desire to mix their Meat (higher divine knowledge) with the milk (infantile concepts of divine) the world has to their avail. Another sign we have is how Allah gives us milk which passes between excretions and blood yet the milk always comes out pure. Such is the life of the faithful for they can be surrounded with impurities yet remain pure!
