An Open Letter to the President of South Africa: 19\09\2014 Dear Mr. President of South Africa. (Yes I say Mr.President because I do not care who you are or were....I am basically addressing all the presidents from 1994 till now ). Lets get something straight from the beginning. You are working for ME. Why? Because I pay your SALARY. (That is how it works in a Western society where OUR tax money pays YOUR salary). So in return I (and ALL tax payers) expect some things from you. (like any employer would expect from his employees). Or lets start off with things I do NOT expect from you: I do NOT expect from you to give me a free house or car. I shall work for those things myself and pay for it myself..... and if you would supply us with proper and safe PUBLIC transport (as any government should), I shall use public transport. What I expect from you is to PROTECT me and my family, because YOU are in charge of the SAPS and the SADF. It does not matter if I am White, Black, Coloured or Yellow, or stay in a mansion or a tin shack. I want to be able to walk around in my neighbourhood and feel SAFE, like I did 20 years ago. I do not want to erect 10 feet high electric fences around my house, like you have done (at Nkandla and all the other presidents houses) , because I can not afford it. (not like you who stole money from SA citizens to secure your home). ANY South African citizens safety is just as important as YOURS! I also expect from you to protect our countrys borders and stop illegal immigrants to enter our country and kill, torture and rob South African citizens. You have failed this country which YOU are in charge of. NONE of your citizens are safe. Women get raped just about every 5 seconds in SA. (Rape capital of the World) Never have there been so many farm murders. Never have there been so many murders in SA. Our State hospitals are a nightmare. Our school system is the biggest joke in the world. Our once powerful Defence Force is now a joke. The Police Force is corrupt and can not be trusted. You have failed Mr.President. In the REAL world you would have been voted out by the board of directors. Why are you hanging onto your position? Why dont you give somebody else a chance? Things could not get worse. You are NOT capable of protecting your citizens! You have NO vision or plan to change things. You are waisting time. You should have upgraded the housing in our townships.(where the majority of South Africans live). NOBODY should stay in a TIN SHACK (it is too hot during Summer and it leaks and is too cold during Winter.) ! How many years are you still going to ignore the BASIC needs of the MAJORITY of people in SA? Regards Your BOSS
