An SOS! Looking for advice/reassurance on an injury thats cropped up just at the wrong time! Im running the VLM in 2 weeks. I did my last long run last Sunday, and an 8miler on Wednesday, and was looking forward to a strong taper. Since then, shin splints on my right leg have flared up. Im icing, resting, compressing, elevating and stretching. I was on for a 3hr30, will 2 weeks rest blow this out of the water? Will I make the start line?! Any help or advice is greatly received x
