An absolute beautiful piece. The more I meet and speak and return to the difficult task of human contact, the more I realise how much damage this medium has caused. How much control it can have simply from one persons isolated opinion is incredible. I am tired of seeing businesses, friendships, marriages, projects.... Go under because someone jumped to conclusion, scared to talk face to face, or even just put a few dollars into going out and experiencing with company. We are humans. We are spiritual and physical beings. Even those who chose spirit as merely a chemical reaction feeding an emotion. It is real. This machine in front of me is not the rest of you. It is a technological interpretation of a piece of your existence. Until I have experienced you as a human being, I will not pretend to know you in order to get close to you so I may ride on your coattails. I will find a way to experience your presence and until then... You are my Facebook friend and I relish your contribution. This is very much my way of saying that the pain in my fingers, back and body as well as the assumptions, falsehoods and non informative or proof given approach that cause so many people pain and ultimately failure, is not worth the anger and fear I feed it. I need to remain true and part of that will be putting away my devices a little more than I have in the recent past and return to many of the incredibly human practices I have left behind in favour of this pain causing piece of equipment. I am on the mend. I am hoping many of you are as well and that you, one day, can find what you need too.
