An absolutely delightful evening to have met with Dilhan Fernando, son of the legendary Merrill Fernando who founded Dilmah Tea in Sri Lanka. Not only was the tea inspired gastronomy under the delicate name of Camellia Epicurean a wonderful experience for a tea lover like myself but I was amazed by the Dilmah familys vision to empower people, integrate sustainability, and change lives for the better through its philosophy of making business a matter of human service. This is what truly sets the stage to why Dilmah Tea is such an admirable brand especially for a social entrepreneur like myself.
