An almost uneventful trip to Mountain View, Arkansas today....Leaving Melbourne, traveling the 19.7 mile two lane maze of treacherous mountainous Hwy 9 roadway to Mountain View, made us as nervous atheist at his own funeral....Several 20mph repeatedly, made us believe it wouldnt end....Screaming please let us have civilization again!...So thankful when we could see street lights and a corp city sign....The winding roads of Colorado seem much wider....Whipped, our first stop was a mercantile store Mellons...Bobs LSU shirt, was quite the conversation piece with Oxford, Ms customers. We rented a secluded cabin for our stay appr 6wks ago...We are positioned on top of a mountain ridge, a 2400 sq ft heated cabin, sleeps 10, a 3 bedroom two-story....No neon nor street lights...I may go crazy...Correct that, crazier!...I did find a neat house in town, the view overlooks Mountain View....Sort of a Penthouse view.
