He was really chuffed when we walked out of our hotel and there was this stunning vintage waiting to treat us to Napier and the surrounding towns. Paul our driver was the greatest chap. He had so much knowledge, and as my husband is an avid reader and has a great memory the boys chatted about the pistons, the starter motor, and all that stuff that most girls dont know about. I knew it was a winner as they never stopped for the whole journey. We took Pauls advice and headed for the Silky Oaks chocolate factory, and a fab craft shop called Waiohiki Arts. This place is a must if you want to be treated to some fantastic NZ craft. Rhonda is the most amazing women who makes incredible hats, bags and floral arrangements from flax. You must visit this place. Prices were so reasonable compared to other places we have visited. (We are kiwis by the way) We were then taken to a couple of vineyards, Church Road and Mission. Top places and top wines and I must add take some time to read the History of Mission. I have been there several times before and never taken the time to view the old photos or read the history. Really really fantastic. We got some great photos in front of the old car at Mission, quite a fitting background I might add, before Paul took us for a visit to Hooters lockup. We had a great opportunity to view the other 16 or so vehicles they hire out and enjoy a lovely complimentary coffee. Good luck for the future your business is fantastic and something we would come back to again. Oops! I wont forget Ana the owners daughter, this girl has heaps of knowledge and experience and I believe began racing her dads cars when she was only 8yrs old back in England.
