An amazing person - longtime internet pal, never spoke in person - has put it in a way that not only crystallizes my boohooing but puts it in this positive and certain language that empowers everyone, and makes it more comprehensible. So, mind this quote from her, here, and note that shes quite a bit smarter than you or I on this tip: vvvvvvvvvv >>Well-meaning commenters, Lokis moved into the acceptance stage of grief....sick people have to go through every one of those stages as do people whove experienced any kind of a loss. To tell someone, in that stage, Oh Im sure youll be fine/cured someday doesnt help; even if you MEAN well, youre trying to push him backwards into a different stage of grief. (bargaining/denial). Its GOOD that hes accepting it. Everyone else who cares about him needs to accept it, too; and all that comes with it.
