An amazing scripture in Luke 15 concerning the elder son and his Father, And He was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his Father out, and intreated him. And he answering said to his Father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gave me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, Thy hast killed for him the fatted calf. And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. All that I have is thine. No limit, restrictions, earning it, deserving it by being obedient all those many years, nor was it his because he never transgressed his Fathers commandments. It was his because he was a Son. Everything that his Father had was his. The only limit on what our Heavenly Father has for His Sons, is what we limit through our unbelief. We, as Sons, lack so much of what the Kingdom provides for us, simply because we do not believe nor understand His love for us as His Sons. Fear not little flock; for it us your Fathers good pleasure to give you the Kingdom. Lk 12:32. All of the benefits, rights, and privileges of our Father is ours for the asking and believing His Promises to His Children. What a friend we have in Jesus, All our griefs and pain to bear. What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer. Oh what peace we often forfeit, Oh what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry, Everything to God in prayer. All that He has belongs to us as Sons. When you realize who you really are in Christ Jesus, your faith will increase beyond all doubt, fear, and worry.
