An ancient Christian gay marriage ceremony? looks like it. the Orthodox rite of Brother Making involved two males being bonded together for life and vowing never to marry a woman. Also, the greek word eros was used, rather than one of the other 3 greek words for love, including phila [brotherly love.] it contained references to two Eastern Saints who died during the roman persecution of Christians who vowed to bear all torments so that they could be together for eternity. Many call it controversial or not at all a matter of erotic love but I think it speaks for itself. Text of the ceremony itself to be listed below in the comments.
