An anonymous buyer who purchased an op shop (thrift store) bowl - TopicsExpress

An anonymous buyer who purchased an op shop (thrift store) bowl for $4 has sold it at auction for a lot more than his original investment. The vase, a 17th century Chinese ‘Liberation Cup’ from the Qing dynasty, is carved from rhinoceros horn. Have you ever found an expensive treasure at a thrift store?
