An anonymous parent writes: Im wondering if anyone can share stories of deciding to homeschool after disastrous preschool experiences. My sweet, sensitive 4.5 yo son has become the kid thats always screaming in frustration, hitting, pushing, etc. He never wants to go and I think he may be feeling so out of sync with his age peers and wanting much more intellectual stimulation (his reading and math skills are at least a 1st grade level). His social skills and conflict resolution skills seem very undeveloped and Im wondering if theres any detriment to homeschooling him since hes an only child.
