An apology to the Nation State of Peru and its peoples. No mention - TopicsExpress

An apology to the Nation State of Peru and its peoples. No mention of the Quechua peoples, indigenous peoples, whose pre colonial works were desecrated by Greenpeace. Maybe Im over thinking Greenpeaces abilities to recognize the Quechua peoples, as indigenous peoples, who are amongst the most impacted and vulnerable peoples from climate change according to the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The Quechua peoples appear invisible to Greenpeace in considering their actions, and in their apology to the colonial nation state of Peru. Indigenous peoples in addition to many others were upset, and critical of Greenpeace. Indigenous peoples were critical of the non recognition of the Quechua Peoples by Greenpeace. Im sure Greenpeace is fighting on behalf of Quechua peoples without mention (paternalism). How else to protect sacred places, relying on an anthropologist for guidance, is one way nation states create policy on indigenous peoples, rather than speak directly with indigenous peoples, Greenpeace also followed this methodology. Greenpeace needs to consult directly with indigenous peoples, and forgo the anthro pologist Greenpeace stated they relied on to pull off the desecration.
