An apple tree can be advertised as a banana tree all day long. If I see apples, I know it is an apple tree. Matthew 7:17 says, Even so, every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. People talk about how we are not to judge. That is true, in that, we cannot pronounce damnation on another. That is Gods job alone. We are, however, to not be deceived. We should not be so blind as to believe that an apple is a banana just because we are told it is.
