An article from Dipak De REPLY TO THE ARTICLE “THE WOUNDED - TopicsExpress

An article from Dipak De REPLY TO THE ARTICLE “THE WOUNDED SOLDIER” CONTRIBUTED BY A DEPRAVE INTELLECTUAL, NAMED ANJAN DUTT - Part-I An article with the headline “The Wounded Soldier” appeared in The Times of India on 21st August, 2013 written by a person, named Anjan Dutt, projected as an intellectual in Bengalese community. As he entered by crossing his limit to teach the society by his concocted, hypocrite, perverted presentation, so I would like submit reply. Is he a Bengali? In Bengali society, the surname of “Datta/Dutta” is prevalent and accepted but why his surname is Dutt? What is the accent of “tt” without vowel? Is it an expression of intellectualism? I have decided that I will write a book by placing this article and show you all that how a section of intellectuals of Bengal are ever not only deceiving the Bengalese and but also citizens of India and as a result, out of many reasons this is one, we are Bengalese gradually getting back positions in all sphere of life in Indian society. He wrote – “It is there (read Darjeeling) that I learnt certain basic values like courage, loyalty, honesty, humility and love.” I have a doubt on this statement. At first my attention attracted the caption “The Gorkhaland movement is a struggle for identity, which has never been given respect by our government.” My question is – identity of whom? He replied in this article – the Gorkhas. My direct question to him – “How he identified a Nepali and a Gorkha in Darjeeling?” “When the Gorkhas entered in Darjeeling?” It is very important to note - it is the history and empirical evidence that Nepalese emerged from Nepal, migrated from Nepal to India and settled all over India, especially Darjeeling and Sikkim were submerged under the incoming flood of Nepalese immigrants. After the Indo-Nepal Treaty in 31st July 1950 Nepalese of Nepal are entering India incessantly particularly in Darjeeling district, Jalpaiguri district, Sikkim and many states of North-East India. But there is no history that the said Gorkhas, as mentioned by Anjan Dutt, entered in Darjeeling. It is also more important to note that - no Gazette Notification, no Administrative order, no Agreement, no Resolution in Parliament/Assembly can create ethnic/tribal group or race or community. Through natural process ethnic/tribal group or race is created. Ethnic/tribal group or race or community should be real, should be natural AND should not be unreal and unnatural. Ethnic/tribal group, race, religious or linguistic minority, community are the matter of international subjects and the subjects of human rights at present world. Bengalese, Nepalese, Tamils, Marathese, Gujratese, etc. have own distinct and separate properties such as culture, language, customs, history, dress, tradition, folk-song, dance, folk-tale, ancestors, heritage etc. Anjan Dutt should reply to public - what are the separate properties of your said Gorkhas to whom do you want identity? Keep in mind that Nepalese community has identity in India, in Nepal and in the world. More identity is not required to Nepalese community. It is to be noted that Nepal is the only country in the world which is supplying Nepali mercenaries, the most hatred persons at present world, since the year 1809, according to information, after Kangra Fort captured by King Ranjit Singh of Punjab. Since then, the Nepali mercenaries name are “Lahure”, “Gurkha”, “Gorkha” respectively. Do you want the identity of this Gorkha mercenaries? Since the inception of mercenary occupation, mercenaries are always loyal, dutiful and fearless. Otherwise no one recruit them as soldier or almost similar work in this world. Swiss mercenaries were dreaded mercenaries and were loyal, dutiful and fearless. - Dipak De, human rights activist; m. phil in human rights’ member of Amnesty International; United Nations on line volunteer on human rights.
