An assistant commissioner of police on Friday slapped a young girl inside a hospital where she and others were protesting against the brutal rape of a five- year-old girl and was immediately suspended. B S Ahlawat slapped the girl at least four times inside the hospital when she and others were on protest. He has been suspended with immediate effect by Police Commissioner Neeraj Kumar. I really wonder, why men cannot have a soft corner for women? When will our country and mentality of the people would change? How can a protector, in the form of ACP slap a girl who is protesting for another female, are they out of their mind to behave so cruel? The increasing ratio of rape and torture to women are the result of disgusting officers like ACP Bani Singh.
