As one of the Kayayongs (Tambayayong Mainit Inc - TMI member), he has been instrumental in ensuring the TMI-led Tree Planting projects in Panayakpan and Bitan-ag are successful. The trees (as shown in the photos) will forever remind me of him. I am sure he has touched many lives in his many capacities. I learned that he was also the President of Barangay Quezons Senior Citizen Association. I remember him visiting our house in Sanghan very often when he, Daddy Yonie and several dedicated Mainitnons were organizing an NGO in the 1980s - the Mainit Concerned Citizens for Development (MCCD). Salamat Mano Pepe. Mainit and your friends will miss you! But your examples will be greatly remembered, honored, and will be our source of inspiration! Mana Letty, Amiel, Aldous... and family...be strong! We mourn with you tungod kay mamingaw... but we also celebrate Mano Pepes life with you... thanking the Lord for giving us a wonderful, dedicated, and inspiring Mainitnon!
