An author contacted me to ask if i would like to review their book.They offered to email me the book as a pdf file i said that i would prefer a kindle version of the book. 5 minutes later they called me back to say that they did not know they would have to pay $9.99 to send the book as a kindle gift and that the book was only 39 pages . She then asked why i would ask her to spend her money to send a kindle version when she could send the pdf file for free and proceeded to imply that i in some way was making money off her by asking for the kindle version.
