So many are not so lucky and I hope we all find the strength to know we deserve better. The effects are still felt today with migraines and in my fear of being betrayed, lied to, cheated on and abused by another person I love. I hope to one day find someone that I wont push away and find trust, respect, honesty, safety, love with a partner that wants to share their life with mine. At this time of year it is hard to still believe that as I spend another holiday alone.
