An e-mail received this morning had an interesting observation. The morning of the Government shutdown there were large signs posted at monuments, parks, and other public venues. These were not hastily prepared signs, but professionally prepared. So, it seems that the administration was preparing for the shutdown long before it occurred. Too bad that much effort wasnt put into solving the problems causing the shutdown.
