An effective balance between conservative and liberal philosophies is what has kept this country strong. The ongoing debate between these philosophies allows effective solutions to become apparent. However, in recent history, certain individuals and groups cross the line of individual and collective expression. Demonizing decent people who are sincerely trying to move us forward is the last and only tool certain people have. They attack the person instead of their argument. Ad hominem attacks are cloaked with ‘truths’ to convince the masses. When facts are discovered and the liars are exposed, dismiss them and investigate their argument. If their argument holds water, then use its solutions toward the greater good. If it doesn’t, then throw the baby out with the bathwater. ~Dean A.
