An email from Israel: Woke up this morning with that hard heavy feeling in my body, another five boys killed, a soldier of ours kidnapped. Last night I saw on the news the woman who gave birth to a baby girl. Her husband was killed last week in Gaza. I wanted her to feel our love. Maybe she spoke to me because she is Ethiopian and my son in laws family is Ethiopian. Maybe her face, filled with sorrow but strength. So this morning I went to buy a few things to send her and her baby. I walked into Fox, chose a few things, and went to pay,. But after I mentioned who the stuff was for, the cashiers wouldn’t let me pay! No, they each wanted to add to the gift. So each girl went and chose more items for the new baby, and wrapped it all up. Then I went to Superpharm and chose a few small items. Again, as soon as I mentioned who it was for, all over again! Each girl working there asked if they could please add to the parcel! And off they went to choose gifts from them! אין כעם ישראל Nobody is like you Am Yisrael! #thatswhatimtalkingabout #amyisraelchai
